The monthly tuition is due the first of every month. The tuition remains the same regardless of the number of weeks in the month, holidays, or snow days. Some months have as few as 3 classes or as many as five classes. Dancers owing two months tuition will be dropped from class at the end of the second month.
Tuition is due even if the dancer misses class. If tuition is not paid the dancer will be dropped from class. Tuition must be paid each month, season long, regardless of your child’s attendance, unless you formally inform us that you are dropping from classes at Dance Arts Amarillo.
|TUITION DRAWING:||We have a drawing on the 10th of each month with the names of all dancers who have paid their tuition on or before the 10th. The winner’s parents get a month of free tuition and the dancer gets to pick a prize out of the prize box.|
|LATE FEE:||There will be a late fee or $25.00 charged after the 10th unless arrangements have been made with the office personnel. This fee applies to each month tuition is late.|
|RETURNED CHECK:||For any returned checks there will be a $30.00 fee.|
|RECTIAL FEES:||The recital fee is $50.00. The recital fee is automatically added onto the final balance of the cost of the costumes. The recital fee will not be refunded after March 1.|
Costumes must be paid in full by the week before our Thanksgiving Break. (We will order costumes during Thanksgiving Break to avoid delivery delays). If your child will not participate in the recital, your costume money will be refunded ONLY if we have notice prior to December 1st.
THERE ARE ABSOLUTLEY NO REFUNDS AFTER DECEMBER 1ST.

|BAD WEATHER:||We will cancel classes if the weather or roads are dangerous. There will be a message on the answering machine AFTER 2:30 p.m. if the studio is going to close. If you are in doubt, please call the studio before you start out. We do not automatically follow area school closings.|
|MISSED CLASSES:||The studio is not obligated in any way to refund tuition for missed classes. If you are paying by the month you are automatically getting a make-up class in months with 5 weeks. Dancers are welcome to attend extra classes to make up missed classes by talking to the teacher for a make-up time. Dancers with excessive absences will not be allowed to participate in the end of the year recital. Dancers with non-contagious illness should come to class and watch. Dancers with injuries that require them not to dance for more than 4 classes must have a note from a parent or doctor. Serious injuries or operations will require a parent or doctor release before returning to class.|
